Designed and built by an architect, the house has a dramatic central tower staircase which connects its two buildings via catwalks. Unimpaired sunrise and sunset views are yours every day.
This one-of-a-kind home is designed to facilitate air flow. Guests move from one living area to the next outdoors. There is not a single hallway in the house. The master bedroom and guest bedroom are separated by a central tower and splash pool, giving maximum privacy to guests in each. The living and dining rooms are adjacent to the pool allowing for spontaneous dips in the cooling water.
This is a three-storey house with rooftop palapa. There are two air conditioned bedrooms each with king-sized beds and large two-sink ensuites. Each bedroom has private balconies. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops, wine fridge and all the appliances a discerning chef requires. The large laundry room has a full-sized washer and dryer. A Weber gas barbeque awaits your party. All linens and towels are top quality. Three hammocks strategically located throughout the house assure a fabulous siesta.

We extended our stay on the first day. Casa Donna sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood, on foot it's 10 minutes to Carizalillo beach... 5 minutes walk to the main street where there are several small restaurants, including the divine Almoradus, and 2 mini markets. Both bedrooms are lovely, each with its own ensuite and balcony. The roof terrace offers amazing views onto the ocean, one day we saw whales, sunsets are incredible... Great experience, we would definitely recommend staying at Casa Donna.
When visiting Puerto Escondido there is nothing more perfect than the security, location and stunning ocean views of comfortable and cozy Casa Donna. From the inside garage to the splash pool, inner courtyard, private bedrooms and sun drenched rooftop deck we found Casa Donna everything we were hoping for and more.
We stayed at Casa Donna a while back. What a beautiful home and location! The well appointed kitchen/dining/living areas all open via a sliding window wall to the tranquil inner courtyard/pool area. We left the large window wall doors open all night during our stay and didn't even need to turn on the AC. There's also a rooftop patio/bar area with amazing views of the ocean and sunsets to die for. We even saw whales one evening!
